LA TROBÀ

C/Leoncio Serrano, Castellón, Ramón y Cajal, Rivera Forner y Plaza Doctor Clará.. CP.: 12594. Oropesa del Mar - Castellón/Castelló

La Trobà, a gathering of trades, customs, traditions and craft products, is an established event in Oropesa del Mar. It is the most important activity of all those organised by the Oropesa Cultural Association (La SOC) throughout the year, and is supported by the Oropesa del Mar Town Council and the Castellón Provincial Council.

This fair highlights the customs, traditions and trades that have marked the development of our town.
Both residents of Oropesa and local associations and artisans from all over the country take part, all of them dressed in the typical costumes of their locality or region.
There are currently around 200 stalls offering handmade products, the representation of traditional trades, local crafts and customs of yesteryear.

Local associations such as L'Escola de Danses d'Orpesa, the Colla de Dolçainers i Tabaleters "L'Embolic d'Orpesa" and the Unión Musical de Oropesa del Mar, are present in the extensive programme of performances, which also includes other groups from outside the province.

Both locals and visitors enjoy a few days in which the streets are filled with Crafts, Clothing, Workshops, Gastronomy, Music, Performances, Parades, Folklore, Theatre and much more.....

We invite you to participate in this fair and to immerse yourself in a journey into the past of our town.
